Academies

New for 2012-13

Advance information and registration materials are now available for the 2012-13 Academies - download the registration flier for your academy of choice for additional details! Academies begin as early as July and as late as November - check individual academies for specific information. ACSA members may apply for state ACSA Academy Scholarships - see application form (available online) for specific details – or check with your local ACSA Region for available professional development scholarships.

ACSA's job-specific academies provide a solid foundation of training in the application of management fundamentals for new or aspiring administrators. These academies are seen as the "fast-track" into a career as a superintendent, principal, business manager, personnel administrators, special education/pupil services director, confidental employee or classified manager.

The academies are designed around the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders and the standards for the Commission on Teacher Credentialing's Professional Clear Administrative Services Credential.
